Partitions, Accubond & Barnes are all good bullets. I would be more concerned with which one shoots the best out of your gun. Having confidence in your weapon/ammo and proper shot placement is the key. My $.02.--Kevin

Well here's my Oryx I harvested 3 minutes prior to eating tag soup. This was a tough hunt due to the wind, but I had passed on 7 or 8 smaller sub adult Oryx on Sat & Sun morning. We hunted hard and covered a lot of ground in 2 days. The Oryx were hunkered down in the wind so you really needed...

NM has some great hunting. I was in Alaska for 6 years and actually like NM better....really I do. As NMPaul stated, there are some good Military only hunt in NM. You really aren't too far from some really good hunting areas. Feel free to shoot me a PM or contact anyone here in the NM forum...

Dan, My Father in law is here until Tuesday morning so I think I'll be OK. We're going to knock most of it out tomorrow. I'll have to grind some burger later this week, but thats easy. If you really want to help I won't decline free labor. You'll get some meat and maybe a beer or two. :-) KH

ND, Like Paul said, make sure you have good glass. I hunted antelope there in Sept & saw quite a few Oryx. I'll be out there in a few weeks chasing Javelina & will make a note if I see any Oryx. There are 38 leftover Military only tags that will be available 16 Dec 08. They're going to go...
