It sucks for a troll when they are played like a fiddle for multiple weeks. I’m still trying to figure out what Wade Lemon did to Tristate to make him want to keep Wade’s federal conviction and incarceration at the top of the page.

I wonder how long Tristate is going to run Wade Lemon’s name through the mud? I mean, the criminal actions are bad enough, but Tristate simply won’t let it go. He wants everyone to know and never forget Wade Lemon is a federally convicted criminal that is going to incarcerated for his crimes. Tri, you’re motivated on this one!

There are cases I know happened. Just because I wasn’t charged doesn’t mean I didn’t speed yesterday when the sign told me I was going 36 in my 35 mph zone. I was still speeding, charges, conviction, or not.

Have yall been watching the social media? WLH has been stacking up monster bucks again this year.

I am impressed how a great family run business can overcome the weight of an over zealous government and hate, and succeed again and again.

That is testament to how great a fella Wade actually is.

How much of a refund does one receive when their guide can't hunt any fs/BLM land?

Would it be 65%? Since Utah is about 65% fed?

I'll also be curious to know, can WLH profit off of bucks killed on fed land, that he had to hire another guide to take his clients on?

I'm gonna assume that WLH watermark if found on bucks killed on fed land, might be found to violate the penalty?

All these questions surrounding those "monsters he's stacking up". I'm sure no one is currently asking and/or addressing them.

Sure is good for his good friend to keep the attention focused on him.

In April, though, prosecutors agreed to dismiss that broader indictment and filed a new document charging Lemon with one misdemeanor count of violating the Lacey Act, related to the cougar killed in January 2021,

But when the laws were broken, they WERE managed and protected on a state level. Doesn’t matter how they are managed now. They broke the law THEN!

How do you call yourself a conservation officer when you can stop a killing of a cat you believe to be illegal but you don't.

That's like the school shooter is in the building and you decide to observe and report.

The reality is it shows the government had it out for him. Even Milly admitted it.

The government has it out for everyone. They will allow you to help build them a case to prosecute you in court, if they feel like that’s the best route to take. Most times, lots of evidence, really good evidence, is what they need to convict someone. WLH was more than willing to help them build a case against them.

This by far not their first rodeo with shady dealings. They have given WLH PLENTY of opportunities to clean things up. They got far more warnings than anyone else would have ever gotten.

I still can’t believe you are the level of restarted that you are. “It’s legal now, so why they in trouble for when it wasn’t legal”. TF is wrong with you?

Apparently, Wade has been a good guy 90% of the time. Even the SLTtrib mentions his copious good deeds.

But clearly, he often skirts the laws for his business interests- and now has been convicted with more in the shadows.

Tri's "nobody knows nothing" thing is really, really lame. It's all out there. Everybody knows- including the courts.

Tri's "cat skin across borders" diversion is just that, a diversion from the serious nature of Wade's transgressions.

I can understand standing up for a buddy- especially one who the majority of the time is a good guy. I can accept Wade is that. But holy crap- he's been damn naughty the other 10%, and hopefully his punishment will not only change him, but any other outfitters feeling like they are above the law.

(BTW Tri- the 90-10 percentages are for demonstrative purposes only, not an actual statistical measure)

I don’t know Wade the non-outfitter, and I don’t care to.

But Wade the outfitter is not a “good person” 90% of the time. Neither are the people at the DWR that covered for him for years.

And the person that defended him in the article was Don Peay. ‘Nough said.

Canned hunts are still illegal.

What's the difference between this "canned" hunt and putting a lions foot in a trap until you dispatch it? The answer is nothing. In fact the cat in a tree has a better chance of survival than the trapped cat.

He broke the law by having the cat in a tree before the client was even called.
The houndsman that sat under the tree holding it while wade himself drove the guy in got hammered too. Except hes not in a federal prison.

Why is that the only thing you focus on that was mentioned? Lots of details have been mentioned. Earlier in this thread you criticized what was mentioned as untrustworthy media. Hearsay, you suggested. Now you’re hitching your wagon to one sentence in an article that talks about a lot of things. Hearsay, I’d call it.

I can definitively say that Wade was not sent to prison in Colorado this week for simply mailing a skin. I can say that 100%.

But I don’t know anything. Just listen to Tri. He knows all.

The cat in the tree from a canned hunt and the cat in the trap have the exact same chance of survival. How you don’t see that, shows your lack of personal experience with both.
