Sometimes, when you piss people off enough, you get punched in the face for less than the average guy. Sounds like your buddy was long overdue to get his eye dotted. My point exactly. In fact I don't know a single other case where someone has been sent to prison for shipping a lion skin. Thanks for making my point for me.
And you have no knowledge of what you are talking about. That's why you have to use words like "maybe".So maybe, just MAYBE, this is about more than what you keep claiming it is with absolutely no knowledge of what you’re talking about.
Wade is a convicted poacher. He’s in prison. There is no debating either, as these fare facts, and facts don’t care about your feelings.
Probably notAnd you have no knowledge of what you are talking about. That's why you have to use words like "maybe".
Maybe just maybe, a person was imprisoned for a risky dink crime, and a violent criminal was left on your streets so you can feel better about how crappy hunting has become in your state.

.Nope.
2 points Vanilla
Wade is a convicted poacher and is in prison.
“Tri” again.
Yes. Did I mention it was for shipping a cat skin across a state line?Well, I guess you really showed me!
Did I mention Wade is a convicted poacher and in prison yet?
You keep saying this. While that was part of it, he pleaded guilty to running a canned hunt. I’m not sure why you continue to omit this information other than to mislead uninformed readers.Yes. Did I mention it was for shipping a cat skin across a state line?
Tri knows this, comprehends it, fully understands it, but refuses to accept it for some unknown reasons while wandering about in circles keeping himself looking idiotic. You keep saying this. While that was part of it, he pleaded guilty to running a canned hunt. I’m not sure why you continue to omit this information other than to mislead uninformed readers.
Two Southern Utah Men Sentenced in Cougar Hunting Crime in Violation of the Lacey Act
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A U.S. District Court Judge sentenced the final defendant today in a crime that involved a Utah licensed big game outfitter and his employee/cougar hunting guide in the District of Utah. The two defendants were sentenced separately for their involvement in a crime that...www.justice.gov
“Wade Lemon, 63, of Holden, Utah, was sentenced July 18, 2024, to two months’ imprisonment, ordered by the court to pay a $10,500 fine, and a one-year commercial ban on federal land. According to court documents, and statements made during his change of plea hearing, Lemon admitted to illegally participating in “canned” mountain lion hunts on January 24, 2021 and December 15, 2020 on Federal BLM and National Forest Service land. Utah law prohibits “canned hunts” of mountain lions.“
Yep. Notice that it says Utah law prohibits canned hunts. He wasn't prosecuted by Utah. He was prosecuted by the feds. It's called spin. Don't fall for it.You keep saying this. While that was part of it, he pleaded guilty to running a canned hunt. I’m not sure why you continue to omit this information other than to mislead uninformed readers.

It's called spin. Don't fall for it.I wonder if you know who was given SAUSA status for this case to prosecute it?
Never mind, I don’t know anything. Tri does though. Listen to him!!!!
(Go ahead and google that acronym above Tri! You might learn something today.)
Yep. Success breeds jealousy and hate. You did. Incorrectly, multiple times.
Lots of people ship cat skins across state lines. But not all of those people run canned cat hunts over and over again.
Yep. Success breeds jealousy and hate.
Damn shame you missed out on having friends. Good luck with being self righteous and alone. It’s honestly sad that you think this is all about “success.”
We all already know you couldn’t care less about any of these game laws, but those of us with integrity see it differently.
Which is why I don’t ever foresee a time I go to prison for violating game laws. I don’t personally know anyone that has been to prison for violating game laws. I guess I hang in the wrong (or right??) crowds!
You are the only one here "spinning" it.It's called spin. Don't fall for it.
Damn shame you missed out on having friends. Good luck with being self righteous and alone.
Nope. Just one of many. You are the only one here "spinning" it.
How do you draw that conclusion. Okay I'm going to do reading comprehension like Vanilly since he can't talk like a grown up.Are you saying you know lots of people that have been to prison for violating game laws?
I seriously don't have a single person that I would even call an acquaintance, let alone a friend that has been to prison for poaching.
It is super uncommon to get a prison sentence for violating wildlife laws. So those that do go to prison are the worst of the worst, it seems.
How do you draw that conclusion. Okay I'm going to do reading comprehension like Vanilly since he can't talk like a grown up.
Are you saying you don't have a single acquaintance or friend? Are you saying if you get put in prison for game laws that means you actually just really pi55ed someone off in gubmint? It seems?
Are you saying you pissed someone off when you broke game laws????I am saying that if you go to prison for game laws, you've pissed someone off, yes.
So do you know many people that have gone to prison for game law violations? Or is Wade the only one you know?
So your saying you don't believe what you are saying this is all just fun and games? And you feel it necessary to remind everyone because you think they are too stupid to remember. That's a fun game, Tri. It's really a simple question. While you spin yourself in circles, I'll remind everyone of one thing:
Wade Lemon is a convicted poacher and is in prison for it.
Now you say all the MM members are stupid?Oh, there is plenty of stupid on this forum lil' lap dog! No doubt about it.
Hey, on your next visit, will you ask Wade what the most recent felony case that was filed 4 days ago is about?
Maybe we can get another pic like this one this time too?
View attachment 159614
I really wanna go find a gif from The Hunt For Red October ‘you lost another submarine?’ lineWade Lemon is in prison for poaching, and while in prison, got another case with felony charges filed against him.
I mean, I guess if he’s just being a citizen instead of a subject!!! Lots of people stack felonies upon each other, right lap dog?
Like I've said, he pi55ed someone offWade Lemon is in prison for poaching, and while in prison, got another case with felony charges filed against him.
I mean, I guess if he’s just being a citizen instead of a subject!!! Lots of people stack felonies upon each other, right lap dog?
You should be proud your state spends piles of money chasing old outfitters while violent crime goes unchecked.
You know I think some other dude had a bunch of felonies stacked on him. What was that guys name? Somebody told me he is running for president or something. He didn't pi55 anybody off either.
Correction, it was for shipping an "illegally harvested" cat skin across state lines. If the cat had been killed legally it would not matter that it was shipped to another state.Yes. Did I mention it was for shipping a cat skin across a state line?
None of Trumps felonies are sexual. You want to compare Wade Lemon to Trump, be my guest. I personally wouldn’t be accusing Wade of sexually assaulting women, but you can go ahead if you want to defame him like that.
Correct. So now people know it's not about canned hunting which Utah turned right around and allowed now.Correction, it was for shipping an "illegally harvested" cat skin across state lines. If the cat had been killed legally it would not matter that it was shipped to another state.
I'm surprised the state of New York hor Georgia haven't stepped in for some "trumped" up charges at this lynching.I’ve said it before in this thread, and I’ll say it again. The level of hate Tri must have for this man to insinuate the horrible things he’s done and keep this thread going is deeper than anything I can comprehend.
I know Wade is a poacher, but I don’t hate the guy. Tri must truly hate this man. Kind of sad.
I'm surprised the state of New York hor Georgia haven't stepped in for some "trumped" up charges at this lynching.
The more the state does this the more it looks like weaponized courts.
Wrong.Correct. So now people know it's not about canned hunting which Utah turned right around and allowed now.
Correct. So now people know it's not about canned hunting which Utah turned right around and allowed now.
No, because it was a "canned" hunt which was then, and still is now illegal has everything to do with his conviction. That is what made it an illegal harvest, when it got mailed across state lines, that is what got the feds involved.Correct. So now people know it's not about canned hunting which Utah turned right around and allowed now.
How is tying a lions foot to the ground for a day and then walking up and shooting him in the head not "canned".
Get real.
But if you want to tell us which trapper leaves a lion in a foot trap then charges to kill it, we will see his azz gets charged too.
It doesn't get any more canned than shooting a lion in a trap. No, because it was a "canned" hunt which was then, and still is now illegal has everything to do with his conviction. That is what made it an illegal harvest, when it got mailed across state lines, that is what got the feds involved.
Trapping is not canned hunting, it has it's own specific rules about how you can go about doing it. Pretty sure you can't go and check your trap, find a lion in it, then leave and come back the next day with another person to let them kill it, whether they are paying you or not, that would make that a "canned" hunt and an illegal kill. And then the same rules about transporting the hide across state lines would come into effect making it a federal crime as well.
So people who make money are what determines whether killing a cat is legal or not??????Exchange of money.
But if you want to tell us which trapper leaves a lion in a foot trap then charges to kill it, we will see his azz gets charged too.
Because it matters if people make a living????Exchange of money.
But if you want to tell us which trapper leaves a lion in a foot trap then charges to kill it, we will see his azz gets charged too.
I learned all right. Yall have Lemon derangement syndrome.Be careful reading these posts lapdog. You might learn something!
So people who make money are what determines whether killing a cat is legal or not??????
I learned all right. Yall have Lemon derangement syndrome.
Yall hate people. Doesn't have to be logical. Just hate.
Catching on that Lemon derangement syndrome creates hypocrites.Look at you a thousand deep finally catching on
More Lemon Derangement syndrome from the hypocrites.Yet you’re the one that keeps this thread going. Sounds like you might have Lemon Derangement Syndrome.
Why don’t hate him so bad?
More Lemon Derangement Syndrome. Keep making excuses for the hypocrisy.I'll hand it to ya Tri, if anyone would recognize one of those, it's you!
Wade is in prison for poaching. He just had a new felony poaching case filed against him last week. He's still got one other felony poaching case pending in Utah. There are multiple other investigations going on, and we'll see what happens with those.
Sometimes when you play fast and loose with your rope, that rope ends up hanging you. You might want to pay attention to that, since you stated recently that you don't keep proper documentation on your animals and that beating one's wife is just a part of marriage.
I disagree trapping is it's own form of hunting, and the laws and rules associated with it are what differentiates it from canned hunting. A canned hunt is when you trap or restrict an animals movements and then bring someone in that was not associated with the trapping of said animal and allowing them to kill it. So if you have a legal trap line and did all the work to set the traps you are allowed to kill the animals in those traps. You are not allowed to have someone else come along with you and kill the animals. It doesn't get any more canned than shooting a lion in a trap.
Logically one is no better than the other.
Yeah I wish Tri would leave trapping out of this. It is a legal method of taking animals that requires patience and skill, and he is comparing it to an illegal activity that requires neither.
I wish I could compile all of the shitty comparisons he has made over the last 1000+ posts, this is one of his worse.
Tri is, he's keeping his "friend" in the spotlight and educating more people on the WLH saga than if he just would have kept his trap closed......no pun intended.Just curious, who's winning this argument?
Impossible task.Yeah I wish Tri would leave trapping out of this. It is a legal method of taking animals that requires patience and skill, and he is comparing it to an illegal activity that requires neither.
I wish I could compile all of the shitty comparisons he has made over the last 1000+ posts, this is one of his worse.
Who kills the animal doesn't logically make a difference. You have an animal that can't get away and now he's dead.I disagree trapping is it's own form of hunting, and the laws and rules associated with it are what differentiates it from canned hunting. A canned hunt is when you trap or restrict an animals movements and then bring someone in that was not associated with the trapping of said animal and allowing them to kill it. You are not allowed to have someone else come along with you and kill the animals.
If you have hounds and head out and cut a track and the hounds tree the cat, you can't then call someone else to come in and hike into the tree and kill the cat. Whether money exchanges or not it does not matter it's still illegal. The fact this is a very high profile guide that IS taking money in my eyes makes this much worse and should enhance harsher penalties.
You don't think training dogs to run a cat and spending days looking for a track take patience and skill?Yeah I wish Tri would leave trapping out of this. It is a legal method of taking animals that requires patience and skill, and he is comparing it to an illegal activity that requires neither.
I wish I could compile all of the shitty comparisons he has made over the last 1000+ posts, this is one of his worse.
I believe you're missing the point.I have been trying to keep quiet on this issue, but I have a question for all. First off, I do agree if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes, WLH debt to society needs to be paid, so it is what it is.
Question: WLH is getting hammered for killing a lion, or lions whatever it may be. The state of Utah is waging war against lions, they want them all dead. We have houndsmen and women that love to hunt lion as much as the next person loves to hunt deer and elk, but the state of Utah, legislature, DWR director, etc..decided that those peoples sport does not matter...lets kill em all.
So how is it OK, for the DWR Director to just say, well, hell, we know the deer and elk herds are suffering so we better kill all the lions. BUT I have a great idea, lets secretly go shoot a bunch of elk and not get the public involved. HOW IS THAT OK? where is the lynch mob for this?? To me the public should be way more outraged about this than someone killing the hated lions...
I feel that they should be held accountable for this. It was a shady deal, or it would have been way more transparent.
Our DWR is a corrupt and OVERREACHING agency, that feels they can manage stuff they shouldn't, but totally mismanage the things they should be accountable for.
Worried about someones trail camera, or someone gathering a shed antler, because it is harmful to wildlife...
Meanwhile, the next day...HEY GUYS lets go bait and shoot a shitload of elk..office party..
Heaton is going down, it's inevitable......not missing the point, I get it...Just cant stand the constant bullshit with the way Utah manages (mismanages) wildlife.
I know why this thread is still alive...that is what it is.
But crimes keep getting committed by others (wildlife officials) and nobody cares quite as much.
Id just like to see something done about it, in a similar way that they have done something about WLH.
You don't think training dogs to run a cat and spending days looking for a track take patience and skill?
I get the frustration but these are two completely separate issues. The DWR director did decide to go shoot a bunch of elk secretly. Our elk herds suck too, I feel that there could have been other avenues to deal with the overpopulation on Deseret...and obviously the DWR knew the public would disagree, so they did it in secret in a way that would be illegal for the public to do.
Its total bullshit. The promote all these auction tags, etc to raise money for conservation. Why the hell couldn't DWR and SFW use some of those funds they abuse all the time. Maybe they could have moved the elk to a suffering unit etc...The money is there, or it damn well should be, there should be an abundance of money from the auction tags. Too easy to just go kill em...
The animals belong to each one of us...the PUBLIC. We should be just as outraged as we are about any other crime. Only this was done by high ranking people and its ok..
It aint about conserving wildlife for hunting anymore..
You do seem to be missing a very important facet of this. Wade Lemon committed fraud against clients by selling them a "legal" cougar hunt, only to blatantly and intentionally violate Utah law by treeing (and in at least one case cornering in a cave) the cat before calling the client to join the hunt, waiting hours for the client to arrive at the "track" and then releasing a few more dogs to make it appear legitimate to the client.I have been trying to keep quiet on this issue, but I have a question for all. First off, I do agree if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes, WLH debt to society needs to be paid, so it is what it is.

What does he pay you to do so?Who kills the animal doesn't logically make a difference. You have an animal that can't get away and now he's dead.
We trap in teams and we don't care who dispatches the animal. We are usually working so hard trying to get the trapline done by dark it's not uncommon for someone else to kill the trapped animal while I'm pulling tool bags and bait. If the other guy or kid in my buggy brains the animal in a trap he or she didn't set they aren't suddenly a criminal scumbag.
I get the frustration but these are two completely separate issues.
Violation of the Lacey Act is federally illegal.
Culling Elk is at state level and not illegal.
Unfair maybe, but not an illegal move.
Is the purpose of a DWR to punish those who wish to make money?Never said it didn't.
I have actually run bears with hounds, the difference is when I did it, I took the dogs, walked ridges till we got a strike and then followed the dogs. I didn't wait for a phone call and walk to a tree. I also didn't charge a fee and walk someone to tree.
Who for what? What does he pay you to do so?
He was never charged or convicted of fraud. The Lacey Act has nothing to do with fraud. He triggered the Lacey act the second a part of the cat crossed a state line. You do seem to be missing a very important facet of this. Wade Lemon committed fraud against clients by selling them a "legal" cougar hunt, only to blatantly and intentionally violate Utah law by treeing (and in at least one case cornering in a cave) the cat before calling the client to join the hunt, waiting hours for the client to arrive at the "track" and then releasing a few more dogs to make it appear legitimate to the client.
That illegal conduct, combined with the commercial activity, triggers federal violations of the Lacey Act.
It's more than just illegally killing the cats, the fraud against customers is a big deal. All of which is why Wade Lemon is a convicted poacher currently incarcerated for (some) of his crimes.
More Lemon Derangement syndrome from a hypocrite. One person being talked about here broke the law. One other group being brought in to distract from the real point here did not.
You may disagree with the way the DWR went about this cull, it was absolutely not illegal.
But Wade Lemon and how he ran canned cat hunts (yes, plural), it was and still is 100% illegal. He knew it, and didn't care because he got away with crap for so long because of the DWR that hoss hates so bad. If one wants to criticize the DWR for something on this thread, it should be for how the top brass covered for Wade Lemon for so long. That is the real question here. Why did they do that? Not some cull of elk that happens everywhere around the state every year. Legally.
Because one is legal and the other is not. You don’t get to pick and choose what laws you follow. Is the purpose of a DWR to punish those who wish to make money?
I thought it was about sound conservation of the resource. But apparently jealousy and envy have to enter the picture.
Why do you not care about a man killing a cat that is stuck in a trap and selling its parts, but somehow a cat stuck in a tree and a guy pays to shoot it and now you turn your nose up????? There isn't one bit of difference.
I'm not arguing what is I'm asking why. Why are two actions that both result in a cat dying that has no chance to escape not treated the same?Because one is legal and the other is not. You don’t get to pick and choose what laws you follow.
I’m pretty convinced Tri is closely related to wade. How many voices and personalities do you guys think Tri has.
If someone with a photographic memory read this thread, and this thread only, I’m guessing they’d see at least 4 times he’s argued with himself as he continually moves the goal posts over time. That’s the thing about lying: it’s hard to continually cover one’s tracks.
I’m guessing we aren’t done, so I’m setting the over/under at 5.5.
Actually go look into the history of why the Commerce Clause applies to guided hunts even if the guide and the client are both residents of the same state... And then look into how that ties into the Lacey Act for when a state game violation occurs. And the selling of a supposedly legal hunt to a bonafide purchaser when the hunt is in fact conducted illegally under state law, becomes wanton destruction by the outfitter even when it's the client who killed the animal because....He was never charged or convicted of fraud. The Lacey Act has nothing to do with fraud. He triggered the Lacey act the second a part of the cat crossed a state line.
The press release says big scarry words like fraud because they don't want to admit they are giving old men prison sentences for shipping animal parts while most of the country is suffering under violent crime from illegal aliens.
I’m certain Prostate knows Wade in a very intimate wayI’m pretty convinced Tri is closely related to wade.
I’m pretty convinced Tri is closely related to wade.
Traffic is good for Founder. And tribabies are good for trafficOr @ founder because he keeps allowing Tri’s bullshit to continue!!
