WLH going to prison

Is it one of those country club prisons? My cousin used to be a “guard” at one of those. It sounded a lot more like he was an activity coordinator to me. He got his golf and racquetball game tuned up though ;)

If leading a shooter to a treed lion is a canned hunt, better build some more country clubs.

Poachers are terrible, but these guys making money (a living) of poaching are way worse and need to be stopped. I think people still hire these guys knowing they will do anything to get them a trophy no matter how illegal. That gives them bragging right. These people who hire them are not hunters, just shooters. And I won’t state how I feel about those that condone this poaching activity.
 
Further reporting by the Salt Lake Tribune in 2022 revealed that Lemon’s outfitter has been investigated eight times by the DNR for alleged hunting violations. These allegations include other instances of baiting, trapping bears in trees, and harvesting a Rocky Mountain bighorn in an off-limits area on Mount Nebo.



Seems like a good guy to me

As a passionate professional have you been charged 3 times with wildlife crime, and been under investigation 8 others, with at least 2 more incidents pending currently?

Is that what separates a professional from an amateur like myself?

This is why 2 months and $10k won't even phase him.
 
You should sell these to all the egotistic trigger pullers that break the rules to get a trophy at all costs with your mounts. That way they can still get a pat on the back when nobody is around.

Well, this topic isn't about an indictment, it's about a conviction.

And I never said I was opposed to it.

However I am opposed to the hateful rhetoric on this thread.

I said Wade Lemon is a great guy. I still say that. And look how angry saying something positive makes you and others. You might want to think about that.

He doesn't understand concepts like free roaming, fair chase.

Outfitting is a legal business, but being operated illegally. So you are correct that it is a law full business, but he has been convicted of an illegal operation? Although you are a loyal friend to Wade, it does not make it Ok. He brought all of this on himself, he made the choice to put his personal and financial gains above the law.
Making the argument that if an employee from where I work breaks the law justifies Wade breaking the law means we are all free to do what we want?

That's not what I have said at all. If an Uber driver gets an DUI that suddenly doesn't mean Uber is an illegal business. It doesn't even mean they are operating as an illegal business. I never said it means you are free to do what you want. It just means don't be surprised all the Uber drivers don't get up and get back to work.

An Uber driver is an employee, not a principle owner convicted on federal charges on federal land that he has written agreement to operate within the law. Sorta different circumstances.

Okay so the CEO gets a DUI on a federal highway that he has a written agreement that he can operate on???? So now Uber is an illegal business??

Said Uber Driver, was operating illegally on public roadways, therefore he is operating illegally against his legally obtained license.
