Harley Davidson has gone "full woke"

On the end of my road there's a prefab owned by an older long hair, long beard, 350lb dude. Never talked to him, but he sits on the porch having a beer and smoke in the evenings when I come home, so I wave.

As it's hotter than Satans arsehole here, Sunday he was shirtless.

BANDITOS. In big block letters across his belly.

Told the boys that's one of those dudes, you just don't f with

Bikers… I think South Park covered this years ago

I Don't Know Alot About Biker Gangs!

But I Do Know The BANDITO'S Ain't Nobody To F'With!

We Were At Lake Powell One Year & We Had Our Tent Not Far From The NOYZ That Went On All Night!

Every 30 Minutes Throughout The Night They'd Fire One Of Their Bikes Up Just To Make Some NOYZ!

About 5:30-6:00 AM Things Would Start Mellowing Down!

I Decided To Do A Payback With My Pick-Up,No She's Not Quiet And It Will Rattle Some Teeth,I Don't Think They Liked It:D

We Decided To Move Camp!

I’m shocked that Harley Davidson would engage in a “Woke” stunt like this. They will likely end this spectacle and discard their woke policies within a week. I grew up around a few Outlaw Bikers and I’ll just leave it at that. Maybe some bikers will buy an Indian?

Getting their panties in a wad over some culture war anti-"woke" crusade doesn't seem too "tough guy bandito" to me.

It seems the tough guy would say, "F' corporate politics BS, I'll ride what I want."

I worked for the Sundowners framing houses for 3 years, I was a lot younger back then... That was the early 90's about the end of the real biker era... Now it's all store-bought bikers...
Have a not to be mentioned family member who was a Sundowner. He rode a BMW- no kidding...

Bultaco was the first motorcycle company to go woke and that was back when woke used to mean what time you got out of bed.

The bikes throttle was on the left, the clutch on the right and I forget what side the " shifter " was on. They'd be pretty popular in our 180 world today.

Bulltaco? How f’n old are you?

Jim Pomeroy was a boner fide badazz.

My grandma said many times that grandpa bought the very first Harley Davidson sold in the county they lived in in Kansas. She said he chased coyotes out in the fields with it. He was born in the 1890's. Her mom told her to stay away from him, but she didn't listen. :)

I'm old enough but definitely not the oldest on this site!

I don't know when Bultaco started but I had a friend who had an enduro style one in the early 70's. Spaniard built.

The only thing that was neat about that bike he could ride it in deeper water without killing the motor than I could my Hodaka.
Like I said earlier everything else was basackwards.

Does owning an Hodaka make me older than knowing about Bultaco's ?

I suspect knowing about both of them puts us in pretty near the same age bracket!!

Holy crap. It’s like I found one of my old MX Action mags under the bed. I can’t remember the last time I pondered a Hodaka.

I still have a CR50 (baby Elsinore) hanging around . Broke my collar bone on it about 10 years ago. :) I do wish I had my uncle’s Maico 501.

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane (y)

CR50? You mean 500?....or did you break your collar bone tripping over a 50?🤣

I started riding street bikes on a 1962 Panhead Duo Glide. I've had a bike ever since up until a few years ago. Never dumped a street bike.

Dirt bikes, well, every one has taken me for a tumble.
