You made me look at that twice. My last one was decent, with 14 inch prongs and 5-6" cutters.
Sorry, I didn't word that right. But here is a pic of him. And I probably scored him wrong too. It's been a few years since I got him, about 13 or 14 years ago. So I don't remember too well on the score. But anyways....You made me look at that twice.
Good looking buck, score doesn't matter, but I think you were close.Sorry, I didn't word that right. But here is a pic of him. And I probably scored him wrong too. It's been a few years since I got him, about 13 or 14 years ago. So I don't remember too well on the score. But anyways....

You still have a few months before you can use it. It will be there before your season opens I promise.I have not received my W deer license in the mail yet, should I be worried?
Thanks
What? I received mine a week ago. Along with a satellite photo showing the location of every 200" buck in the unit.I have not received my W deer license in the mail yet, should I be worried?
Thanks
Get in shape if you plan to hike the mountain, it's steep. Don't overlook the lower country. There are some nice bulls killed in 22. Maybe I will see you out there later in the year. Don't forget to come back and let us know how you did.Unit 22 for elk.
Headed that way in a couple of weeks to get the lay of the unit.
If any of you are familiar with the unit I would appreciate any advice you have to offer.
Planning on archery hunting.

Which side of the mountain, north or south, gets most of the attention during elk season
I drew exactly zero- I’m never putting in again in Wyoming-period. Not going to be discriminated against by those in Power- the $$$ thrown at Wyoming are a total waste- nothing much left after the monster winter loses anyway- Wyoming is a dead horse- I know someday the hunting may return, but not for me in my lifetime- hell, I’m 77 & now the end isn’t that far away, it’s been fun - until now. Lots of good memories since 1978. Love the country & the wildlife - never in a million years would I have guessed this would all come crashing down to this sorry mess .Applied in the regular draw but didn’t draw anything! The special price is way too “special” for me to afford.
So what after admitting you know about the massive winter loss you think everyone should still get a tag?I drew exactly zero- I’m never putting in again in Wyoming-period. Shameful.
Glad I’ve still got a little Hope left in Colorado !

Congrats, Bob. My family drew pronghorn with 7 NR points in Unit 72 (regular draw). We just barely drew and I'm glad we went with the cheaper tags now. This will be my first time hunting in WY. They're generous with NR tags. I'm grateful for it and I wish Arizona would allocate more tags to NR hunters. It would be a little more difficult to draw but at least family from out of state could come down more often. Good luck to those hunting in 2024.I went with the regular draw with my 8 points, and I was glad I decided against spending the $1200 for the special draw, since I did end up drawing my antelope tag. Actually my tag could have been drawn with only 6 points. But I'm glad to have used my points now before prices go up even more, and they go to 90/10. I probably will focus on elk hunting in Wyoming every year now and give up on trying to draw buck antelope tags through the preference point draw, but I will try to draw in the random.
We focus on trophy elk, mule deer, antelope and moose hunts and take B&C bucks most years.
