Yea, finding 26 has been a bit tough. I have a bunch of 22.3250 with reloader 26.
Kind of odd...I use quickload and they list 3062 as MV for the same charge of 22.This is from their website.
Good place to start.

I like the 168 gr. Have not worked up a hot load yet for the 300 WM. View attachment 158734 Been using them in a 308 win. and have been happy.
I have almost exactly the same COAL and velocity out of the same charge in my 26" barrel Cooper .300WM. No pressure signs, but, quickload shows an estimated 65K worth of pressure.I'm loading 76.0 grains of RL 22, CCI magnum LR primer, Hornady brass and 175 grain LRX BT. COAL 3.437 vs 3.547 to touch. Chrony average was 3198 fps on 5 shots, don't have SD info. 24 inch barrel, Fierce Edge. No pressure signs that I see. Max load data I referenced was 76.5 grains.

That's fast out of a .300 Winchester. mtmuley175 LRX out of a 300 WM @ 3250 FPS. Found it in under the offside hide after traveling through both shoulders of a bull at just a little over 400 yards. Bang flop of course. Weighs 160 grains.

I can't say as this is my first try at 175lrx.LRX expand at slower velocities or just a lower drag style bullet?

It is. Combination of RL 26 and a “fast barrel” get me there with no drama. It’s definitely exceptional, and beyond the norm. Unfortunately that barrel is pretty much done. I doubt the new barrel I put on there this winter with give the same results. That's fast out of a .300 Winchester. mtmuley
I was going to ask about 26. mtmuleyIt is. Combination of RL 26 and a “fast barrel” get me there with no drama. It’s definitely exceptional, and beyond the norm. Unfortunately that barrel is pretty much done. I doubt the new barrel I put on there this winter with give the same results.
Ask away. I’ve used it in pretty much everything it’s applicable to. PM if you prefer.I was going to ask about 26. mtmuley
Thinking of trying H1000 & H4381sc and compressing loads..I’m using IMR 7828 SSC. It fills the case for sure. In all honesty, I have the best luck with compressed loads and slow powders with Magnums. It’s easy to get the velocity with faster powders and less case capacity, but in my experience the ES and SD get worse wnd aren’t as stable with that type of load.
