I like the 168 gr. Have not worked up a hot load yet for the 300 WM.

Been using them in a 308 win. and have been happy.

Kind of odd...I use quickload and they list 3062 as MV for the same charge of 22.

And, Barnes suggestion of 69.3gr of 4350 yields possible over pressure at 64.6K psi and 3076 MV.

FWIW, my barrel is 26, v. Barnes barrel of 24"

I am by no way an expert on loading copper, but I find the pressure signs increases faster with powder weight. And barrel length seems to affect pressure and speed more. Barrel tolerances also. Just my observation with the few rifles I load for family members and myself. I have not pushed copper like I do Bergen’s. My 7mm WSM is 2 grains over max and still has no pressure signs even it hot weather. It is also most accurate at that speed.

I'm loading 76.0 grains of RL 22, CCI magnum LR primer, Hornady brass and 175 grain LRX BT. COAL 3.437 vs 3.547 to touch. Chrony average was 3198 fps on 5 shots, don't have SD info. 24 inch barrel, Fierce Edge. No pressure signs that I see. Max load data I referenced was 76.5 grains.

I have 2 Barnes reloading manuals and copy off their website reloading data. Found quite a few loads that don’t jive between the manuals and website. I always start in the middle of the lowest one and build up from there.

I have almost exactly the same COAL and velocity out of the same charge in my 26" barrel Cooper .300WM. No pressure signs, but, quickload shows an estimated 65K worth of pressure.

Adjusting the C.O.A.L. gives a lesser pressure reading and only a slight drop in velocity. Velocity was nearly identical to QL on my chronograph, with an S.D. of 10-12 for 2 groups of 5.

I was very surprised or lucky or both.

Federal Match LRM primers, Lapua cases, and I weighed the cases and bullets into groups. I have some Petersen brass I may try after hunting seasons are over.

My SD was 16. All very similar to your data. This rifle/loading had been a tack driver for me and much better than my shooting skill can utilize.
