Verizon hands down for overall coverage. Verizon co-locates with the local carrier in the Basin. But if these fires don't get under control....the south slope will be limited to hunting areas. What species/season are you hunting?

you won't be hunting rock creek, hells canyon....its under fire as we speak.

Made a scouting trip to the Dirty Devil. Sh'es hotter than a pistol right now. Did manage to see a couple rams. Its a big country, Thanks for the help from those who have messaged me. I will try to keep you posted as things continue. Good luck to all this hunting season.

To say I'm excited would be an understatement. Anyone wanting to share information would be greatly appreciated. Figure it isn't what it once was as I've heard the numbers are down from years past, but I'll put on some boot wear and see what happens. Anyone else on here had this tag in the past...

I'll be honest with you...if you don't have permission to hunt private land then Tabby is a very tough hunt. Tons of people hunt on the public land. There's always a few good bucks that come out of that country, but mostly by the locals who know the area very well. I'm not trying to discourage...

From what I understand. The DWR is trying to acquire it, but it has now become a bidding war with a private entity.

Id be glad to hunt with the man. It'd be good to actually meet the guy without the press telling us how to feel about him. What better place to get to know someone than hunting.
