I hunted this unit for elk twice about 10 years ago, archery & rifle. I am happy to share what I have learned. I will be in the unit hunting sheep starting 10/1 which is the rifle opener. I am hoping if anyone sees or hears some info about sheep they will let me know. I have a plan but will be listening to the latest info.

There are definitely some rams West of Meetsee, not sure if it was part of the wilderness, but I don't think it was. I scoped them from our afar on my elk hunt around the same time as your elk hunt.

How long ago was your elk hunt? Do you mind sharing where you saw sheep? PM messages are preffered. Ironically I occasionally looked high for sheep on both my elk hunts there and never saw any. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
