I drew KS whitetail for unit 1 and 2. I mostly curious on the Whitetail population in the odds of finding one on one of the walk-in areas. Never been just chose units close to Colorado and this is what I drew this is a rifle Hunt by the way. I'm use to western colorado deer hunting.

Two great units, w/ lots of deer. Lots of walk in hunting areas, the WIHA Atlas is updated every year for latest info. There are some big bucks, but very spooky and hard to hunt. Seem to just disappear when daylight arrives. Both the St Francis and Sherman WMA's in Unit 1 get hunted hard

Kids and I drew the same units for muzzy. My daughter and I drew the Muledeer stamp, but the boy didn't. I hunted it back in 2020 with muzzy so I'm somewhat familiar with the area. Quite a bit of WIHA
Seen quite a few deer on my last hunt. I'd think the later season might be a tad difficult finding them
