Crap!!!! Be smart and let it heal fully. So sorry. I'm normally always so cautious about activities that can put me out of commission before hunting season but I pulled a bone head and fell playing basketball with kids last week. Nursing cracked ribs now. Wish I was smarter and could practice what I preach. Lol.

I saw a specialist today who said the healing is progressing well, maybe just another three weeks in the boot. Doc also said we ought to X-ray the other ankle too, see what’s going on there. He did ask who I saw in the ER and did he X-ray both ankles? Nope I said, that Doc said the right one was just a sprain. The Specialist told me, congratulations, you have two broken ankles. Let’s start treating the other one too. Good news is it’s healing well also. I’d been taping that ankle and using one of my high top boots on it. Meanwhile I’m going nutty staying off of them.
