Vortex Vipers or Pentax DCF SP?

Vortex Vipers 10x42 or Pentax DCF SP 10x43-Which ones should I get? Both about the same price. I have heard excellent things about both brands.

IMO, The Pentax may just be slightly better than the Vipers but not quite as good as the Vortex Razors. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss it, if you have a few moments

I got my Vipers from Doug, and I absolutely love them. Doug is the expert though.

Please do not misunderstand me. The Vipers are an excellent binocular. I would put them as superior to the Nikon Monarch series, just not quite at the level of the Pentax DCF SP

Hope you didn't misunderstand me Doug. Love my Vipers, they are fantastic especially considering the cost. I was just saying if you were to recommend one over the other you are truly the guy that would know as you have easy access to both. You're the man in other words.
