Utha LE deer or elk?

I applied for deer this morning but when I tried to apply for Elk it told me no. Can you only apply for one species a year?

LAST EDITED ON Jan-02-08 AT 02:03PM (MST)[p]In Utah you can only apply for one Limited Entry tag. I know it's a bummer but it limits the amount of people applying for the tag you want.

I see....so any elk tag would be otc?

Yes , NV hunter. You could apply for antlerless or buy a spike or general season bull elk tag. You can also apply for one once in a life time species. Sheep,moose,goat,or bison. Choose either deer or elk and stick with it. Good luck.

They are right. Also, antelope can be chosen over elk or deer. Better odds, but I would stick to deer or elk.
