Obviously I ain't from the south like y'all. I see a big monster like at and I just assume she's a muskie. You guys using nightcrawlers or samon eggs?

Its a northern.
She was a tight squeeze through an 8" hole!!! it took several tries to get her pointed upwards - those fish don't like to come in vertically - lol.
I was actually pulling my line up from about 35' deep water to check bait on the tip-up. She bit the sucker chub about 12" below the ice - dang near pulled me in the hole!!!

The northern is my personal best and she will goon the wall as a reminder of a great weekend on the ice with my sons. The lakers all go back down the hole to let someone else have a go at em.
