table mountain wilderness (16)

I am planning on hiking into the table mountain wilderness for an archery deer hunt in August. If anyone is willing to share a good starting point please let me know. I might go in July to scout it out first.

I was up there two weeeks ago and did a little lookin around. I didnt draw that area this year but I did back in 2008. I know quite a bit about the area around Table Mountain. Send me a pm if you need any info. I would be happy to share what I know.

Good luck on the hunt! It's awesome country. Three of my buddies had 16 tags last year and we saw some bruisers, all outside the wilderness. My friend Jason killed a buck on the late rifle hunt and another guy (who I don't know) killed a 200+ buck at the north end of the range on the archery hunt.
