CPW is reporting that the pair of wolves in Steam Boat have done the deed and are proud parents of three new pups. Mother nature is out performing the tree huggers.

I see they got the 100,000.00 fine posted for killing a wolf at the end of the article. They must be getting soft. When this happened in Idaho we got the 100,000.00 fine, imprisonment and lifetime loss of hunting privilege. Ok you Colorado guys interested in Wolf introduction from write now keep track of how many Wolves will be killed by government hunters over the next fifteen years while you get to stand by and watch. I knew there were 2 Wolves in North Park and a small pack in Browns Park but had never heard there were collared Wolves in Steamboat. Interesting how they start showing up in Colorado with the mention of introduction, but they don’t seem to show up in Utah.

These pups are actually in Jackson County and only sort of near Steamboat. I’m guessing CPW wanted a little misdirection on this.
