Where do you guys get these wild snowfall predictions? Everything I see says a couple of inches.

So far we’ve got a couple of showers, and a reminder to tie everything down. Low 20’s in the mountains though.

mountains looked snowy from Montrose this morning might take a drive up there this weekend for grins!

And yet Accuweather says Silverton will be lucky to get a couple inches. Mt Wilson and the rest of the peaks in the SW got a dusting so far.

It’s sure nice to get a storm finally. The mountains down here are as dry as they’ve been in years.

Another nothing burger of a storm. I thought this storm would be our annual "fake winter" scare, but no such luck, indian summer continues on, into november...

The bulk of the storm is yet to come. We’ve already gotten about 3/4” of rain down here in Durango.

According to this Beartown got dumped on over the last 3 days.

2.9 inches of Snow Water Equivalent of heavy wet snow. If that were powder snow that would be 29" of snow.
