newbie to unit 21

Well we leave next thursday to get setup in unit 21....We have never hunted unit 21 ever...We drew a quadrant tags so we are waaaaay fish out of the water...I have been told to camp around winston so we have little to go on...We do have onX so we can sure sure we stay within the unit and off private property. Any input would be greatly appreciated as to where to camp and hunt..Still deciding if i am taking my SXS or the jeep.

I would take a SxS, but not absolutely necessary. Huge unit, has desert to high mountains pick the terrain you like to hunt and hunt far from the roads

we came back with our tails between our legs to be honest but it was for a dif reason...all went great...we found a great spot to camp and a great area to hunt...my other half and i both got shots and drew blood but we could not locate the animals...we spend a day and a half looking...so we called it and came home...we were not going to take another shot since we could not locate our animals...so we came home dejected...

Where did you end up hunting? My rifle hunt started on Saturday and we have yet to see much.

yes...i was hunting meat and the unit gave me options...
