My 2024 Antelope

I was fortunate enough to draw an antelope tag this year. It had been forever since my last opportunity to hunt antelope so I was very excited to say the least. I spent the summer scouting as much as I could. This was the buck that I wanted to kill.

On opening morning, I located him, after several busted stalks I was able to get a shot on him.

He scored 83 6/8 green. I’m hopeful that after the drying period he will make B&C.

Congratulations on a very fine buck indeed ! Well done ! I used to hunt in New Mexico a lot in the ‘80’s , until the Ranch permits went thru the roof cost $$ wise, I loved it every year ! Best buck I ever got was a true monster south of Quemado in west central part of state. Hunting was superb in those days ! You are very lucky - enjoy more of those rare hunts !!
