It looked like we were not going to get the 2'of snow that had been forecast for the front range of Colorado...........and then........ Saturday evening it started. We now have 20" and the mountain from WY to I-70 have about 25". Really need some in Western part of the state. I believe we are at about 80% for much of Colorado. It is snowing pretty steady and is suppose to continue until early Monday. I guess Lake Powell is really low and is collecting a lot of boat props.

News is reporting 52,000 people without power. This really helps but this drought is not over for Colorado. Key will be if we have a cool spring and the runoff is slowed.

There us much more to Colorado than the Front Range. .15” storm total in the Grand Valley of Colorado, barely enough to settle the dust.
