Few acres, burned pretty mellow from what it looks like down here. I’ll be flying up there in a couple hours and I can tell ya.

We had a few thunder boomers over here on the very western part of the state. It looked like it was getting more intense the further east it went. Fires can be good as long as they don’t burn too much. I hope it gets under control soon.

I have heard 7 acres and moderate spreading

I didn’t get a flight up here until 6pm but once I saw it I can say there is very little heat left on it. There is handline around it and the only open flame is a few small heavies still burning and most likely will be burned down by morning. We’ll continue to mop up the next couple days to be sure it’s completely out

Did you get any rain with that thunderstorm? We didn’t get much over here.

I’m not sure if they had rain in the fire area. I live and am stationed in Reno. The desatoyas are just part of our response area.

Too bad it didn’t burn more. Those junipers could use some more thinning.
