That’s fantastic I drove past it in sept of 22 and it was pretty depressing.

Guess I won’t get to see it that low until 24/25 again.

I was over that way summer of 2021 and it was scary low. It's amazing how much moisture norcal got this year.

Went bass fishing on shasta last friday and it's great to be out on that thing when it's full! Been a while. Lots of debris floes on the lake so be careful if you go out..

Lake Shasta itself is epic for boating and fishing – gotta love those serene waters and maybe snagging a big one if you're lucky! And Mt. Shasta, well, that peak is like the guardian of the North State, always looming large and majestic. Hiking around there is a must-do, especially in the summer when the trails are primo.

Took a loop up that way the year I retired in 2012. Beautiful country, that.

The day we were there the top of Mt Shasta had a donut shaped cloud over the top, with tip of the mountain poking out the top of the cloud. Similar to this image off the internet. Very memorable.

Today Mt Shasta looks like all snow will be gone bu August 1st..
It was very hot during the day...
However cooled off around 12:30 am.. only to warm up by 9:30am ...
Redding was 111• at 9: pm
