Be grateful you remembered that load was in there and you, or someone else, did not stack a new load on top.Is it ok to shoot out a load that has been in my UML for 3 years? Loaded with BH209
That would be great!I now see you said it's Rem Ultimate Muzzleloader. I can get the breech plug broken loose for you with enough Kroil ...and time ....and effort if you want.
I think I owe you that much.

When you two get it broke loose, re-read elassassin’s recommendation for the Anti-Freeze. Works like magic!!!That would be great!

Well dang….. sorry I missed seeing you. Keep trying…….. we got gossip to work on. ?DC,
I was near you in Richfield twice, recently. Once on business and once to the DMV to get boat stickers so both were quick or busy trips. I spent a day and a half at the cabin but between kids, grandkids (and BB gun shooting) I didn't have much time to reach out.
The truth is, I thought about you each and every time so evidently you've made a positive impact on my brain!
It'll happen sooner than later but I don't have a specific time until the muzzleloader hunt with a grandson on Sept 27th.

Have you tried it on choke tubes yet??High Grade Silver Anti-Seize & Coat Every Thread & You'll Never Need To Worry About It!

I am thinking about trying it.
Should have checked the lung cavity.?I know a guy that shot and hit a bull elk. He quickly reloaded and in the excitement of the moment forgot his ram rod was still in the barrel. He said it kicked alot harder. His friend let him use his ram rod to reload and finish off the bull. It was a big bull! No, he didn't find his ram rod.
What type of gun? They make CO2 dischargers to stick on/over the nipple to blow the powder and bullet out the barrel. An air compressor and nozzle might work, but I have never tried it.Is it the same case if you have an old black powder that's been loaded for years. It had a tag on it when I inherited it. The tag said loaded beware. I have never shot it but would like to get the loaded gun out of my safe.....LOL
I was thinking about setting it up on a bench with a string as was stated above in this tread.
