For you wingnuts!! and you know who you are!!!

So, what will it take for those that took the Oath to say "ENOUGH!"? This POS is doing exactly what he told the sheeple he was going to do, "fundamentally change" the USA. Well, he is doing it, with NO resistance. The US gov has no respect for the constitution or our God given Rights. We have degenerated into a socialist country. The gov indoctrination has been successful and it continues at an accelerated pace!
So, what is it going to take? The loss of OUR God given Rights. I don't think this will set things in motion. We as a nation are fat and happy and will willingly give up our Rights to keep our conveniences! At least most of us! Best pick your team, because it is getting closer and closer to game time.

Where was this outrage when President George W. Bush was issuing signing statements and choosing to ignore laws he had just signed off on?

GWB issued 290 Executive orders and gathered power to the office, yet now if Obama uses the same powers it is going to ruin the country?

How many of you that want to "pick teams" are going to turn down every dollar of government programs aimed at you? I want to hear how many are not going to accept all government help they think they deserve.

It is a joke how most of you ignore things while their guy is in the office but when somebody else in in the office doing the exact same thing, we have to pick side.

Longer I am around the so called conservatives in this country the more and more I convinced that most have never read the Constitution the claim to support.

Nemont,
I was not behind bush 1 or 2, or anyone else involved with NAFTA or the world order. Some of us put this country before ourselves. God first, country second, get it? You will never understand our core values. Do You stand for anything?

You know some people just have to have drama in their lives, it's not just for teenage girls anymore .

Little has changed in this country politically in the last 20 years, but to listen to the cry babies you'd think all was lost. some even going so far as to say they'd consider taking up arms against this nation over a ban on new assault weapons sales.

Is this really what we've come to? we have life so easy we're obsessed with trivial crap to the point of self destruction? I grew up in a home with a WWII vet for a father and a batch of WWII vets for uncles, I'm sure they'd find this nosense bullchit even more pathetic than I do.

Stay thirsty my friends

Of course you would think nothing has changed politically in 20 years. In reality the political climate and trends have shifted quite a bit. Take off you azzhat and wipe the chit out of your eyes 440! You don't see it because you don't want to see it.

So you will take every dollar and pass that debt to my kids and grand kids and hide behind the fiction that you are putting country first. You must be in the Tea Party. A majority of Tea Party members want no reduction in SS or Medicare and they don't want to raise taxes to pay for it.

I stand for not putting my children in debt prison in order allow old guys to continue to get their hardon pills for free. I have put my country first for many years. With me it isn't just a slogan to hide behind and pretend to superior.

How much are you willing to give up in order to put your country first. Not hard to get to the core of things

I'm good with cutting everything except the military. I have three youngsters, two in their early teens, the other even younger. I don't want them to have to finish a job that we should take care of. If things keep going as they are debt will be the least of our kids worries. Like I said God, country. You do not know me, I hide from, nor behind anything or any one, and I am easy to find.

By the way, I gave the gov 28 yrs as an LEO, my retirement and medical is paid for. I do not need nor will I receive SS and I will not need MC. However, I do care for the welfare of others that do need these programs but cuts could still be made if these programs were administered appropriately. That said, they can drastically cut most other entitlement programs.

Norkal

So you are on the taxpayers dime and that makes you superior? What if they wanted to cut your retirement and medical due to the pension plan being under funded? Bet you would declare that you were owed those benefits.

I love how you can judge me but I can't you because "I don't know you ". I know this you can claim to put country first but I bet in the end your personal well being trumps getting our fiscal house in order. I am fine with looking out for n?mero uno. I just don't pretend to that I have it all figured out.

Nemont

Nemont,
"I love how you can dudge me". Funny, I don't recall "judging" You. And by the way, I did earn my pension, have never claimed to be superior to anyone, and proudly served THE PEOPLE, not the agency who paid my wages and am still at their service if needed.

Norkal

What if the pension plan is underfunded? Do you expect the people you served to pay more in taxes to make sure you get yours?

You need to read what you posted again and then come back and tell me you don't think you are better then others. You think you are the only one to serve?

Nemont

not suprised; i did predict many of those who re-elected him, will regret it by half way through his first year...

NORKALNIMROD-
typical military, start work at 20 years of age and retire at 45, or 48 in your case.
Did you go into a combat zone?

Is your family covered for life also?, Its probable that you will cost taxpayers a million dollars just in free medical treatment, that's not including 30 plus years of checks every month.

I see why you don't want to cut the bloated military budget, I also see why America is so far in debt, and why we have such a stagnant economy.

I told this story of my friend before. He went to work for the army when he got out of high school, got a super top clearance status and spent a year and a half looking at satellite photos of the Russians. He developed a non work related tumor behind his ear, got a 80 thousand dollar operation, and went back to work, and week later they said his eye watered. so he wasn't worldwide deployable, he got discharged with a lifetime pension and free medical for him and his family for life.

The military budget should be drastically cut and they should tighten their belts like everyone else.
Its easy to see why we spend 48.6% of what the entire world spends on defense, what a waste, what an economic mess.

Nemont & Piper,
I was never in the military, never claimed to be. I have never viewed myself or claimed to be superior to anyone. I have never judged You or others, have not name called or talked BS about the folks that have different views than mine on this forum. I respect all, fear none. One can take my life, but not my faith or my confidence. Nemont, You seem to have an issue with me. Try as You may, You cannot push my buttons.
All good.

Norkal

norkal-I should have read more carefully. Why are you against cuts to the bloated and wastefull military industrial complex? ever hear Eisenhowers speech? the truth in it rings loud and clear, and its relevant today more than ever.
Its bad for the taxpayer that such a huge government agency never has to tighten its belt, it just keeps growing.

I have no problem with you, I have an issue with proclaiming you are for cutting and not answering the question. Would you accept cuts to your benefits if the plans are underfunded or do you expect the taxpayers to keep you whole? Simple question.

Nemont

Nemont,
I have had cuts. Although a paying member, I was not covered by our union. My last few years were in management and administrative ranks. We lost quite a bit. Not complaining, my choice. The move gave me the ability to spend more quality time with my family. With our state in as bad a situation as it is in I do not believe my pension is safe. I have invested through the years, not nearly as much as I would need but enough to help if the need arises. That said, I am young, stay in pretty good shape and am not afraid of work. If I need to find work I will. Hope that answers Your question.
Piper,
I am sure the military wastes plenty of money, no argument there. I just believe it is the last place we should cut.
