We agree on something!!! I’m going out for the last week but I’m not banking on killing anything. Last two years ive done my part. Passed on every buck I’ve seen. Going to have to be real special for me to pull the trigger on a mule deer anytime soon. Might just be a whitetail hunter for a few years after this oneBummer it wrecks folks hard earned hunt time but them critter deserve a good year or 10.
Seems odd without any snow. They do move in a hurry when it’s time to go.As i was driving home today from Fairfield at 11:30 , i witnessed the beginning of the migration from 43 to unit 45. I had to stop about 4 miles from the Pine exit to let about 20-25 deer cross into unit 45, on the back end was 4 small 4-points. I always thought they crossed in the night, but it was pretty cool!
Ooh, let’s see the buck you gotYeah there wasn’t a lot in there this week. I hiked out yesterday after seeing much of the same. Went up to 33 this morning and killed a buck. Sure was pretty up high though
Sure killed his thread with that question. I would like to see what these city folk consider a "big" deer to look like also.Ooh, let’s see the buck you got
I can appreciate that, but if more people would tell a story and show a picture of big and little bucks alike we wouldn't have all of the garbage to wade through on a site about mule deer.i thought he was worth shooting. sorry guys. i don't post pictures on the internet. you can look back though my posts, pretty consistent there. think i posted one elk pic on a Roosevelt thread and felt terrible about even that.
I'm a little old school i guess. i can remember we didn't even tell someone when we when we tagged out. just said, "yeah we went hunting, it was fun"
i get to look at what i've shot whenever i want. don't need them on a computer screen to see them.
If more people never would have started posting pictures in the first place maybe the hunting would be better and we’d have less flat brim insta hunters in the woods. Varying philosophies…I can appreciate that, but if more people would tell a story and show a picture of big and little bucks alike we wouldn't have all of the garbage to wade through on a site about mule deer.
.....err...so to speak !In his defense he never said he killed a "big" buck?
We need to unite as one country.
Like Kamala.....She just puts her head down and goes to work.
