So I recently started experiencing problems with the generator in my Gulfstream so I took it in to Camping World to have it looked at. They called me back and said that it wasn't putting out a full 110 volts and they would need to clean the brushes to fix it, and it would cost $300.

Now they have called back and told me that it did not fix it and it's going to be $380 more to replace the voltage regulator and they don't know if that will fix it. Needless to say I advised them not to mess with it and I would pick it up. Now they tell me I owe them $416 for the work they already performed.

I am curious as to why I am responsible to pay them for work performed that didn't fix what they were hired to do? Anyone else have a bad experience with them? Seems as though I am being charged for their mechanics education.
