A "whats he score?" First post

Alright fellas, I know he's not a monster but he's a pretty one. Just a plain ol 4x, no eye gaurds. What's everyone's estimate on score? I'm guessing 150s? I have very little experience scoring deer though.

Welcome! Hard to tell with just those angles, but he looks bigger than 150 to me.

That buck is much bigger than 150”, I would bet he’s at least in the 170s. Heck, he has a big body he might be in the 180s.

I'd say he's closer to 160" than 150 and I also think he's closer to 150" than 170.

Well so far I'm liking the general consensus..shitty pics and bigger than I initially guessed! Nicest buck I was able to find on my long weekend of scouting though, so I may just have to try and make a play on him for opener. With a 6 month old baby at home, I think my wife would be absolutely over the moon to hear I shot one the first weekend

If you're expecting a 150s buck, you'll be pleasantly surprised if you kill him and walk up. If you're expecting a +170" buck, you'll need a special tape measure.
