Have a '98 Chevy pickup with
250,000 miles.

Love it. It's starting to use a tad
bit of oil. I don't want to buy a
new pickup if I don't have to.

When time comes, thinking about dropping
a new 350 in there, and going on.

BIL is a mechanic and would get him
to do it.

Did it with my '89 and that PU has 413,000
miles now.

What think?

If the rest of the truck is still good why not? New motors usually are followed by a bunch of little odds and ends stuff that go out shortly after though...

Drive it till it blows and go from there! My brother-in-laws '95 chevy has close to 400,000 miles in it, it burns a little oil but thats cheap compared to an engine!

Hey Laro,

Just go Buy the New Truck!
You know you want it!
And you won't get your hands Greasy!
You might get your Wallet Raped though:D

Hot Dog,Hot Damn,I love this Ameri-can
