Hope all’s treating fellow MM’s well!
So I’ve got 2 family members with this tag. Been out on the Carson’s the last few days glassing the main drainages after hiking in past road closures and we’ve only seen 2 does. I wonder if that’s due to basically no weather up high yet. Thinkin about heading north to northwest side of Reno next. We’ve been glassing tree lines and Quakie groves like crazy. I just wasn’t aware that the deer population in 194 seems so low, or they’re down in the yards.
If anyone wants to help my family out, or even come hang out and glass, I’d sure appreciate any recommendations. Thanks everyone, updates will be posted!

Hey there
The ruts just now started, but with the warm weather the deer are not moving much. Give me a call and I will tell you we’re you may get lucky?

You'll find deer from Thomas Creek all the way to Garson road in 194. Just got to be a mile from any houses which is actually pretty easy. Lots of high country where the timber meets the mahogany. You'll definitely see bucks in there. The rut is on so it'll be easier every day that passes.
