The year i was there we found 2 bulls around east creek campground, fairly low on the hill, they weren't big , a nice 5 point and a rag horn, my bud who had the tag made a play on the 5 and it slipped him, north of there towards kallamazo pass we spotted several good bulls high on the wind blown slopes, we did not have horses and with the deep snow we just watched and hoped they would move lower, they did not even after another big snow storm, The cows moved down , not the big bulls,, with the lack of snow this year you should be able to spot a bull and climb your arse off and put one down, plan on several hard days of packing to get him off the hill..I hope that helps
