My 23 year donation for Nelson and California still hasn't paid off. I had max points for Rocky's until they eliminated the hunt for non res. I've guided a couple sheep hunts in Nevada and it sure gets in your blood. There's alway the hope for next year.

NV. I’ve talked to lot guys on the forum and met a few F2F. The majority are great folks but there are a few that like to stir the pot. We have one on the other post. But it’s best to just ignore em. I’ve been comin over there lately and doin a little fishing. It would
great to meet up with you

Congratulations to all you lucky folks that were successful in this years draw. It's gettin tuffer to draw a tag now days. I made my yearly donation and received my customary unsuccessful across the board notice. Was even unsuccessful in my home state of Utah. Guess I just do a little more...
Dam Crampy take a Midol. You assume ( you know what that means, makin an ass outta you not me) that I'm cryin., Not the case at all, Just makin a joke. This post was going along fine till you interjected. Are you related to Tri State. The way I prevent gettin up on the wrong side of the bed, is...
I'm with you Eel. They need to start issuing some senior tags instead of so many youth tags. We've put our time in. I'll guarantee you there's a lot of daddies shooting critters with youth tags

I first started hunting Nevada in 1984. I drew 7 tags the first eight years. After they went to the point system I've drawn 4 deer tags, 1 elk tag, and 1 antelope tag. I also picked up 2 deer tags in the second draw but that was before demand went thu the roof. Goin into this draw I'm sittin on...

There's no difference. If your gonna kill an animal do it quickly and cleanly. I'm not a fan of trapping either. It's a pretty small man that has to show how big his dick is by making an animal suffer.

Building a deck for a customer I found this in one of the 2”X12”’s. Some little pisscutter doesn’t know how lucky he was. I imagine there’s a lot of these in Utah’s forests.
Remember the line " All hunting should be privatized and sold to the highest bidder". You have to be a special kind of stupid to support an organization that wants to eliminate the average working class hunter. Kinda like voting for Biden
Wes
I went the first year it was held. Found out about who was runnin it and haven't been back. Not gonna support an organization that wants to eliminate the average hunter.

Either one will work. There's so much hype about the 6.5. With their reputation all you have to do is climb to the top of the mountain and hold either cartridge above your head and shout 6.5 and everything within earshot will drop dead from fright. Then you can just take your pick
Wes
Forget the complaints about the dedicated hunters and the lifetime license holders and all the other excuses. These are just smoke and mirrors to distract from the real agenda. Remember the statement "All hunting should be privatized and sold to the highest bidder" ? The most relevant comment I...
Hunting "accidents" where someone is killed should be prosecuted as manslaughter or negligent homicide at a minimum and loss of hunting privileges. Targets should first be identified as the correct species AND as something you want to kill before knocking an arrow or chambering a round. Theres...
The true number of deer killed in Utah will never be known but with the legal & illegal harvest and predation by lions, bears, coyotes, bobcats, eagles and whatever other predator thats out there, combined with road kill and human encroachment our deer herds are in serious trouble.

BTW, lions kill more along the lines of a deer/elk a week...study up
Right, you systematically ignore poaching which is a bigger problem than predators.
The DWR estimates the Utah mountain lion population at 2300 animals. So if each lion kills a deer or elk a week that equates to...
23000 poached deer each year in Utah equals 63 deer per day. Last year Utah sold 73075 general season deer tags. If the state wide success rate is say around 40% then 29230 deer were killed legally.
Craig Miya, assistant chief of law enforcement for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, says...
Brake cleaner or parts cleaner are instant death to the little bastards. I keep a few cans around just for them. Works better then any wasp spray or WD40. One shot and they're dead before they hit the ground. Can even shoot em out of the air.
