    Lucky my 2015 LE Bull

We were camped south a mile or so from the restrooms down by the bun area. We mostly were on 4 wheelers. No white chev in our camp. Congrats to your daughter! Love the backend on him.

Hey BigjohnT, it was so hot! The hunting for us was real slow. I only had a few day to hunt and got lucky to have had a shot at him. Was getting worried it wasn't going happen for me. Thanks! His mass is unreal! I'll be working on putting a story together here soon. Been super busy with work. Also like to mention that no outfitter was used. 100% DIY. I'm just lucky to have great friends that enjoy chasing elk.

    How would you hunt this?

Is that Unit 45? Like everyone else said - glass and stalk. In my experience most of the deer there are in the sagebrush near the tops of the ridges, not so much in the thick stuff. Obviously when it is dry they stick pretty close to the water. Good Luck!

    MULE DEER pictures- WOW !!!!!

The last pic was in our local newspaper the other day. The blurb with it said the pictures had been floating around e-mail land - and had been taken by an employee at the INEEL. That said they don't call it the 'mistakesman'for nothing.

    Idaho Landowner Tags

Does anyone know how the Idaho landowner tag system works? Do landowners get allocated a number of tags based on how much land they own? I looked on the IDFG website - but information was not readily available. Just curious, thanks.
