I in fact killed a great deer this year. I have shared a few pictures here and there but I havnt posted publicly and I havnt made up my mind if I will. Many people have seen some floating around and that’s fine. I believe special deer are to be shared but I’ll do that on my own when I feel it’s right.
I didn’t collude with Bess on this post to get everyone stirred up either.
 
I am going to weigh in on this. Upfront Clint (Leicabucks) is a good friend of mine. I am going to say he is the best mule deer hunter hunting the public west these days. He spends more time looking all year long and finds deer on the summer, fall and winter ranges. He is a simple man with a passion. He isn’t looking for recognition or someone to pat him on the back. The true fact is he is a great mule deer hunter and puts forth the time and effort that most of us can’t imagine. The deer in question is magnificent buck. But he kills one every year and doesn’t lower his standards. He passes on bucks most of us on here never see. I’m glad he is my friend and I wish him the best. He is a very humble dude that’s a great dad to his son.

Had the pleasure of meeting Clint this fall and would echo all of this. Really happy to see all his hard work and hours and hours in the field pay off.

Congrats leicabucks. You are without a doubt a big buck slayer. To have a guy like Rich (and others) say the things they do about you as a hunter and a man speaks volumes.

I selfishly hope you share a pic but fully understand if you don't.
 
All the love and adoration is great, but this is a hunting website and 99.99% of us would like to see a picture. I know I would. The way hunting is going in the West, we are more and more going to be living vicariously through other hunters while we wait our turn for a permit.
If you're not going to post a picture, then let's just shut this thread down and put Elkarse in timeout for wasting all our time. He really shouldn't have started this without prior permission from @liecabucks.
