We killed this buck in 2022. What do think he scores? I’ll post the score on Tuesday.

My experience is trail cam puts a buck 10” lower on frame and 20” on a bull, however isn’t this the same guy talking about a buck getting an inside spread credit of 26” if the longest main beam is 23”.. just fact checking.?

I'm gonna be blunt. I'd have to see pics with the tape measure taking the measurements to believe that score. Unless you are adding the outside spread to the score too, then it would be believable.
He had an 29 inch inside spread. I will post score sheet. He also had some of the largest beams ever

He's a great buck, no doubt.

But he's not a 218" gross buck using B&C measuring system. You can post a score sheet, sure, but without pics of the tape taking the measurements I'm not buying it.

He’s not 218 B&C he’s 218 gross
Reread what I wrote: he's not a 218" gross buck using B&C measuring system.

The B&C measuring system produces a gross score and a net score.

The only way that buck scores 218" gross is if you don't follow the B&C measuring system. Like, for example, if you are adding both the absolute inside spread (as you have made clear in other threads that is what you do for "gross") AND you also add the outside spread (which is noted by B&C but not included anywhere in either the gross or net scoring), then I could see how you got about 30" of extra "score" over B&C gross by using the DeerAddiction4 system.

He's an exceptional buck DeerAddiction... thanks for sharing.!

If I had killed him, I'd have been driving home saying, "Oh my gosh, I may have killed a 200" buck..." over and over. Then the tape would have made me a little light headed. 😁
