Wolf release map.

I detoured into one of the culdesac’s in my mind and recalled that back in the ‘80’s we used to mock Patsy Schroeder for famously saying that all the cattleguards need to be fired. This old joke has since been attributed to every stupid democrat for the last 40 years.

It was funny before we actually had paid cattleguards.

Just wait til september when they start gathering cattle off the forest. I have a feeling the wolves will find it easier to poach cattle calves and sheep off the forest all summer than chase elk around. The forests here (routt county) are flooded with livestock. Like shooting fish in a barrel? The ranchers wont really know the damage til they gather them up in the fall.

“Wolf depredations occurred slowly and infrequently since the gray wolf reintroduction in 2023”…..:

Really??? Could it be that someone pro wolf wrote this article? Surely not. Media is always fair and balanced.

It also states that only one claim has been approved so far.

Well they are either spreading out or recently released some near Carbondale.
Saw one cross 133 around 2am right in front of my car a week ago 3 miles from town.
Had a light yellow collar on it.
Unlike the Tofu snowflakes, I was not thrilled seeing it.

What else is the state not telling the people? They are even using their liberal friends that are 2 dumb to notice the incompetence.

A very good article on the objections of the Southern Ute Tribe, and the background on their ancestral hunting claims - the Brunot Area.

It’s bad when NPR gives you the back of the hand.

Clyde is dead! what a Sh!t show!! 🤡 :ROFLMAO:

My buddy had a decent thought, that perhaps they would try and breed them in captivity to and use them as broodstock basically to repopulate the state since no one will provide CPW with wolves.

I bet those many miles of fladry is really affective to steer away a hungry wolf......being a wolf....

Anyone discussing this?
Not surprised at all TX. Written by people that somehow have come to believe, they can alter the DNA nature of animals. Believe they can create a wolf that with kill domestic animals when it’s hungry. What’s even more threatening is the political leaders of these bureaucrats believe they can change the DNA nature of human beings as well. So is it any wonder they intend to do this.

At least they are consistent in their beliefs and when they say they are going to something, it’s high time we start to believe they will.

What they are saying is that any of these captured wolves that have a history of killing livestock will not be released again into the wild. Not sure I believe that.

Apparently another wolf has died. This makes three of the original 10 that have ended their career in Colorado. What the powers that be are putting the wolves and ranchers through is JUST PATHETIC !

Okay……. What I’m saying is, that will never solve the problem, because, every wolf is a wolf. Eventually every wolf is going to kill livestock, if there is live stock to kill. It not like thinning sugar beats, they are morons if they think this is a solution to keeping wolves from killing domestic livestock. And in all sincerity, I do mean idiots.

Totally agree. But that Jeanie is out of the bottle.
Unless, due to the bad publicly, you could get a new election to rescind the wolf plan??

Need to make sure that everyone on the Front Range is aware that Mt. Lions are killing the wolves, so it's important to manage Lions to save the wolves!
