What's the country like around there for elk hunting?

Indian Reservation. Plenty of forest and logged areas. There are elk in the hills, but not the best elk hunting in Idaho by a long shot.

Elk hunting is better south of there a bit. But good WT deer hunting in that area of ID

Quite a bit of private farm ground. Get permission from the right rancher and could get a decent whitetail and elk in the right places.
