Well, I bean slackin and the chokecherry’s pulled me back in. We have a lot of them and the birds get every one. Poor deer have to eat the bushes.

A make up post. This was the “little” fire the neighbor started the other day. A little different wind direction and this could have been bad. The neighbors saved the trailer from his little trash fire.

Sweet. This guy had an ear problem too. Here’s last year and this year. He’s 4 now, pretty much the end of the line for a 20” 4x around here. I’ll miss the ornery little guy.

Yup, pretty unusual aspen. That would run my stove for about 2 weeks in the winter. We have a big old dead spruce on our place that looks kinda like that. I never thought to take a picture of it.
