I remember back in 92-93 I was in the California Conservation Corps in Fortuna and the locals would complain about the heat if it was 75-80. I used to tell them that it was around 30 degrees hotter down where I was from. Weeks like this, I could use some of that coastal Humboldt County weather. Lol.

People will be flooding in from inland this week for the holiday. People from Redding, Red Bluff, etc. It's amazing how many friends I have when it gets hot inland. :)

It will be 114 here all weekend......I was supposed to be on the Intrepid out of San Diego all weekend......it is broke down in Mexico.......

The COOLEST 60 Degrees I Ever Felt Was On The Coast Of KALI!

No wonder I can't get a recent fish report. My favorite SD long ranger.

Get up at 4:30am
Do some painting around the house and than maybe some chores. By 9 or 10 I am done for the day.

Remember when I was a kid. We never had A/C in our vehicles, just rolled the windows down. Never felt a need for it. Now I would never own a vehicle w/o A/C.
We had wing windows that worked pretty well too. I have air conditioning in my Tacoma, but I don't need it here. I run it once a week just to keep it alive is all. I've recharged it a couple times too.

It was 110 here in central Nevada according to our weather machine. I'm not sure I've seen it that hot before. Highest I recall is 107.

104 here in Brentwood that's what they say but every day my thermometer here is at 106-107
We were at the beach the on the 4th and it was sweatshirt weather the fog rolled in and it was like instant air conditioning amazing didn't want to come home
They were catching halibut by Bodega so maybe I'll get the boat and go try for a few...
I'll bet Eel is doing the very same

I've been out 4 times for 0 halibut. It's too cold. :ROFLMAO:

Been mostly 90 to 95 hear back east in Pa. Most days have been this way for 2 weeks and a couple more week coming. High humidity

I have to be honest, the whole ending a sentence with a preposition is kicking my azz on this thread. I’m surprised @Homer hasn’t hossslapped y’all.

“What iis the temp where you ARE”. End of sentence.

Where is the libary at?....my dear sir, at Ivy league colleges, we do not end sentences with a preposition.....

Hmmm...ok....Where is the libary at, assshole?

This might be bragging, but the average high temperature for my town for the month of July has been 58 degrees. Most days I have to wear a jacket because it's always cool-cold. It'll get a bit warmer in Sept and Oct. To contrast this, the average high for Death Valley for the month of July has been over 124 degrees!!

Been in Bakersfield for a couple of weeks. It’s all fun and games until the power goes out for 2 days with highs of 114.

But I’ll survive having grown up 130 feet below sea level on the Mexico border where Muleys do survive and in there own way thrive.
