I buy a tag every year but have never killed one. I like watching them. If we could still post videos I would post my calling instructional videos. Tikka gave me two thumbs up.You hunt turkeys BH?
Dang Ricochet, you got me with this one. Do you sell prints, of various sizes, of your photos?

I should let everyone who cares know that that peak in the background is probably 30? miles behind those elk. A very distorted view that you can never see with your eyes.Still blows my mind! Makes me wish I had more time and $ to get into photography!

Henceforth shall be known as “The Bluehair Ecosystem”.My red tails showed up at the nest again this year. I wonder where they go. Swallow’s and martins should be in a couple of weeks. I put out 4 new bluebird houses as this year’s habitat improvement project. View attachment 141829View attachment 141830
I put some water back to the trees, try to spray a few weeds, and keep the varmits trained to stay away so I figgered a few more bluebirds is a nice touch. I just try to be a good neighbor while I’m squatting here on the winter range.Henceforth shall be known as “The Bluehair Ecosystem”.
You’ve succeeded, clearly.I put some water back to the trees, try to spray a few weeds, and keep the varmits trained to stay away so I figgered a few more bluebirds is a nice touch. I just try to be a good neighbor while I’m squatting here on the winter range.View attachment 141913View attachment 141914
I love that boxy looking guy. You’re fortunate to get to see more good bucks in a day than some of us will in a lifetime. After taking those pics, I moved on to another few areas and found these bucks to photograph.

Makes me green with envy.Picking up the groceries in the Fall before winter hits. Not worrying about the price of gas either!

I’ll take the #1 please. Here’s some of my winter range studsA few years ago, I took an early November drive to the winter ranges to see if I could find some rutty bucks. No snow on the ground, but there's always a few bucks after the does regardless of the weather!
