The post about sleeping in a pickup got me to thinking........
Maybe I have a whole lot more stuff in my pickup than most people. Here's a list of some of the stuff I have:
Tools - wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc
Tow Ropes
Shovel
Ax
star lug wrench with cheater pipe
Ratchet straps
Motorcycle straps
Tire chains
Fencing tools
Oil and antifreeze plus brake fluid, diesel treat in one pickup, injector/fuel cleaner in the other
A little air 12V compressor
Tire repair kit
Extra serpentine belt
Often an extra spare tire or two
Water
Extra coats and coveralls
Extra TP
1000 feet of mule tape on a garden hose reel
Handyman jack
Baling wire
Window cleaner and paper towels (to be a good road hunter)
Tarps - always at least 2
Sand bags and targets
Special tool kit for adjusting scope turrets
Wyoming game saw
Always at least one firearm, usually two.
Always a hunting pack or two (lots of stuff in the pack, too).
At least 2-3 flashlights
Always optics
Camera usually stays in the truck, too.
Snacks
And if I'm going hunting or camping, I have two bear-resistant coolers. One for food, one for drinks. Plus my sleeping bag and pad. And a gym bag for clothes. Sometimes a tent. Rarely a stove. And the 4 wheeler is often there. Sometimes pulling a trailer with a side-by-side, but it has it's own toolbox full of stuff for the UTV.
I'm sure I forgot a few things, but that catches most of what's in my hunting pickup. How does your pickup compare?
