LAST EDITED ON Aug-07-16 AT 11:32PM (MST)[p]I drew the late season desert sheep tag. The unit is huge, i've got some leads and have been scouting, but would love some direction. Anyone hunted the unit in the last 5 years, or know anyone who has. Any help would be awesome!

Congratulations on drawing the tag!

It's one of the few units that I have not hunted but have looked into the country a couple times. I would have been a guide "helper" down there this year but a great deer tag in my pocket prevents me from going.

I'll probably tell you what you already know.
It's still considered the best unit in the State (by many but bot everyone) but with that said, there are no guarantees and no easy desert sheep hunts in Utah. I don't know if the late tag will help or hurt but when I've hunted other units later in the season they've been very pleasant because most tag holders aren't there but that won't be the case on your hunt.

Everything I know about the unit would fit in your eye and you'd hardly notice so I can't be any help.
