I have a pair of Zeiss Victory 10X42 Binos and was wondering what guys are using for a Tripod Adapter?

Zeiss makes one but $220 seems a little pricey.Anyone using anything different? I love the Bino's but it seems Swaro has a much better set up for mounting on a tripod.

I use an outdoorsman binocular tripod adapter for my Zeiss 10x42. It cost 89.00 dollars and works great.

I just went to www.outdoorsman.com and it looks like they are 110.00 dollars. The one I purchased was for the leica 10x42 but it fits the Zeiss fine. If you call them and let them know what tripod you are using they can set you up with an adapter plate. I almost always glass with my binoculars on a tripod as it is way more effective. If you have not tried it you will be amazed.

Nikon makes a universal one that works great with the Zeiss-it looks like a copy of the Leica universal bino adaptor.

Paid $30 for mine.
