I am thinking of getting a zeiss conquest rifle scope 3-12x56 .I was wondering if they are precise enough to move the turrets for long shots, and still be able to zero when turned back to the original zero.

Do some research on the turrets, I have a 4.5-14 and love it. But my turrets don't click when turned, makes it hard to see how much I have gone up or down,,,, I have the ones where you have to take the caps off, pull out then turn. It is a nice scope though. Do they make one with the long outside adjusting turrets in that power? If so I would check that out! Don't know if this helped you out much!
