Your picture reminds me of Convict Lake, CA.
I worked on a project in Mammoth and stayed at Convict Lake.
When it was'nt fishing season the place was pretty empty.
Ended up helping run there dude horse rides in the summer.
Its not Colorado but to be sent someplace to work I would go back.
