I was a juror on a 8 week murder trial and the defendants good friend testified for the defense. He spent all day in the jury box. He was a basket case and changed his story several times. At the end of the day the jury was admonished to not discuss the case with anyone, period! As we got up to leave one juror said out loud "And this is your brain on drugs". We all laughed but the attorneys and the judge almost called a mistrial.

I swore I'd never serve on a jury again.

I was on jury selection for a murder trial I was one of the last to be called up to the stand and they let me go because I said I wouldn’t support anything except the death penalty. So if you guys go that route it’s an easy way out.
