long hike out...last years' model...should i pack it out, or leave it ??

My rule is that it only stays if it crumbles in my hands! Pack it out. Although it would look funny with all those huge beautiful browns you have.

C'mon you gotta pack it out then everytime you look at it you will think "man I wish I coulda' found that last year" It will serve as motivation to try a little bit harder everytime you are out.

well I say it depends on if you can handle one more shed on the load you probably already had with you at the time.. I would pack it out due to the fact I don't find many elk bone, just deer really..

I have found so few that I always carry em out.
I rmember one time hunting chukar in Idaho in Sept. and found a matched set of 4x4 muley sheds, I picked em up and packed em a ways and then decided to stash them and get them on the way back to the boat after the climb up to hunt, Somebody got there before I got back and all I got was a memory and a lesson learned.
