WIZ, Since I feed my family with such matters, a good tip is to google
"is yahoo down" or gmail or anything else.
Your top hit should be down detector.com. This will give you a graph showing reported incidents as well as a fairly accurate outage map.

Yahoo sold that part of their business to Aabaco small business recently. They are doing the web hosting now. Look up Aabaco small business reviews. nit favorable at all. I've had a few problems already since the change. Goodluck understanding the Indians if you choose to call to try and figure out what the issues are with your email.
