That's my son closing in on my male. You can see him to the left of my son.

Great pics. Too many wild mustangs for my liking. Love how your dogs worked as a team to flush out them birds.

IF WE COULD JUST GET SOME OF THE WOLF PACKS TO MIGRATE DOWN TO THE WILD HORSES WE WOULD BE IN BUSINESS..............YD.

The horse population is way down since the big "Twin Peaks" round up year before last.

I think no matter how many horses they take off of the range, others migrate in to good habitat. The year after the round up I was seeing single degit numbers most every time out. This year teens to mid 20s almost every time.

The year before the round up I was seeing 70-100 every time out.

Realize I'm travelling 10 miles in my truck through the habitat they frequent plus a 20 mile quad ride so that's a total of about 60 miles a day round trip plus another 6-12 walking.

They're kool but in years like I think this year is gonna be (drought) they really tear the water holes up.
