This is the goat that my Step Dad shot last Saturday. I'm not an expert at judging goats but this one seemed pretty good to me. We really had to work to get a shot at him. What do you think? Is it common for the tips of the horns to be frayed like his?
Looks like a very respectable buck. And, yes, their horns do seem to fray like that either on their cutters or the tips. I've shot several where that is happening. Congratulations!
